I am floored at how smoothly this went, and how quickly my vision came to life. I only knew two things - what layout I wanted, and what color I wanted. We started our business 2 years ago and have been struggling ever since to get our logo and other graphic needs met. We have paid so may designers and have never received the services or they were left half finished...and with our lives running a farm and both working full-time, we did not have time to pursue these people and keep them moving forward. Many times things simply fell away paid but undone! It was extremely frustrating! But then I found Designer Blogs on Google. With a little hesitancy I contacted DB and ordered a premade blog. Upon meeting and working with Lauren, I was nothing short of impressed! After working with her a bit, I decided to try the whole logo thing again. What can I say!! It was amazing. I had already prepared myself to wait months, but we were done in a week...with everything! She had totally captured our farm, family and business in a only a week! I literally started with ZERO idea of what I wanted! I felt so bad for whatever designer ended up with me! When Lauren contacted me and we started sharing ideas, it all just came together perfectly! When you read the testimonials about the great email communication and the designers willing to do whatever they can to make your vision become a reality, they are 110% true! Also, it really helped that I went back through most of the recent testimonials before mine and checked out their blogs to see what I liked about them (especially since I had no idea of what I wanted!). Lauren is an exceptionally talented and patient designer who worked with us to create the graphics, embellishments, and fonts across two different sites. For our first site, I e-mailed with her continuously over a week and a half to get the graphics exactly as we wanted them and she put up with all of our craziness and "nitpickiness" . . . even when I e-mailed her three separate suggestions in less than five minutes. Our first site has gotten so many compliments and we love the way it looks! For our second site, we just needed a few graphics created and she pulled the whole thing together in a few days, using some of the elements from our previous site and adapting them to the new idea. We love the way the graphics have turned out - it is even better than what we hoped for.
It is very rare to find a designer who can envision what we want even when we don't quite know what we want. That's what we got with Lauren and why we hired the second time, and why we will hire her any time we need to make design changes to any of our blogs. I also really love your website - one of the best designer websites I've seen on the Internet.

I am oh so absolutely in love with my new blog design! After blogging consistently for a month, I was like, "Okay, I'm in this for real" and I immediately started looking for a way to have a personalized presence on the web. That brought me to Designer Blogs.

I have wanted to start a blog for my business for so long now and did not know where to start! I am an avid follower of blogs. I have been encouraging myself to "just do it"...however, I am a person that HAS to have everything together and ready from the get-go. I cannot just try-out the blog thing and see if it works. I found Designer Blogs from one of my blog raids trying to find a design that I liked because I felt that I could design a blog with no issue. I have the capability. After days of surfing, I said forget it...I am going to hire this out. I took my squirrel money and purchased my design time. IT WAS WORTH IT! When I first emailed Designer Blogs, I was contacted by Lauren. She was quick to respond, very helpful and upbeat. She offered to do a free phone consult with me. (Which shocked the crap outta me. No one does free nothing anymore.) So, after a quick chit chat, after *I* stood her up by accident on our first scheduled time, she was polite and very helpful and walked me though the process. Then, when I first saw I got a new person named Erin to build my blog...I was soooo disappointed. I was like what???? I JUST told this Lauren girl what I envisioned and now this new girl is making it for me after I paid rush charges? But, THEN....Erin WOWED me with her "get into my head and built me a masterpiece!".
